Incorporate Whipped Cream
Carefully fold in a third of the whipped cream into the pumpkin-chocolate mixture to lighten it. Once combined, gently fold in the remaining whipped cream until no streaks remain. If using egg whites, beat them until soft peaks form and then fold them in at this stage.
5 Chill the Mousse
Spoon the mousse into serving dishes or cups. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or longer for the best texture).

Once chilled, garnish with additional whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired. Enjoy your delicious Chocolate Pumpkin Mousse!
